With red kidney beans, rice, and your favorite Tony Chacheres seasonings, this traditional favorite can be served as a main dish with cornbread on the side.

 3 cups Dried Red Bean
 1 tbsp Oil
 1 tbsp Flour
 2 cups Chopped Onions
 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
 1 lb Smoke Sausage
 2 tbsp Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning
 4 cups Green Onions

In a medium pot, soak beans overnight in enough water to cover.

Drain and rinse.

Heat oil in deep pot over low heat.

Add flour, onions, and garlic.

Stir frequently and cook until light brown.

Add smoked sausage and beans.

Add enough water to cover the beans.

Season with Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning

Cook slowly until beans are tender (about 1 hour) stirring often.

Serve over steamed rice and garnish with green onions.
